Although many English Grammar books are available in the market, most of them miss something. There are some books, which have all the contents, but are too heavy and complex to go through. So, I thought of writing a book covering all the relevant topics briefly and effectively. All the relevant topics have been covered in an easy and interesting manner. Writing a grammar and composition book is more like compiling chapters and rules than creating something new. Hence, resemblance to or influence of the other esteemed authors on this book cannot be denied.

For the learners, besides going through the textbooks, reading storybooks, newspapers, magazines and the bestsellers are among the prerequisites.

Research says most people tend to think in their mother tongues. Since Hindi is the mother tongue of more than half of the Indian populace, most of us think in Hindi and translate the same into English. This is where students feel difficulty in speaking English fluently. To address this issue, wide varieties of sentences and expressions have been framed in this book. Considering the problems faced by the CBSE/ICSE students, a good chunk of the grammar portion with the related practices, comprehensions, editing passages and the latest format of writing letters/notices/diaries/messages/reports/stories has been added.

Apart from the fillers, words which are often used in day-to-day English conversation have also been included. Generally, most of us commit blunders in spelling English words. This issue has been taken care of by compiling a list of words generally misspelt.
Reading and understanding text and solving comprehensions are the prerequisites for the composition part. So, a good chunk of comprehension has been included to serve the purpose.
Tense with respect to time has been the most important part in academics, spoken English and competitive examinations.
Considering this factor, maximum grammar contents, related practices and translation have been included in this book.
To improve one’s vocabulary, more antonyms-synonyms, one-word substitution, natural habitats, objects and sound, phrasal verbs, homonyms and proverbs have been added. Other than the exercises, separate test series have also been included to keep a tab on the learning and performance of the readers.
