Describe a time you visited a place with friends

  • Where you went?

  • When you went out?

  • What did you do?

  • And explain why you had a good time?

I have never been on any bicycle or motorbike trip So here I would like to talk about a car trip that I found really interesting Last year my friend came from Canada and he wanted to see Rajasthan. My maternal aunt and uncle live in Jaipur So we decided to visit Jaipur in Rajasthan. It was too late for the train reservation, as my friend had come for two weeks only. My uncle has a Toyota Innova, which is a seven-seater car and so my father borrowed it from him for a week. We were six members my father my mother my brother my friend my uncle and I.
We started at 6 AM. During our journey, we halted at many places. We first stopped at Murthal, where there is a famous Motel, JhilmilDhaba, where we had our lunch. Then we stopped at Delhi for tea. We had minor halts at one or two more places. Finally, we reached my aunt’s house at 7 PM. She had prepared a sumptuous dinner for us. The next morning we went for sightseeing. We saw many places such as the HawaMahal, City Palace, Amer Fort, Maharani Palace and so on. The next day we went to ChokhiDhani. This place has been the mirror of Rajasthani culture since 1989.

We learned a lot about Rajasthani culture over there. Live dances and music performances went on throughout the evening. Dinner was included in the entry ticket, and so we had dinner over there. The next day we did some shopping. We enjoyed the hospitality of my aunt and uncle. We returned home after one week. This road trip to Rajasthan will always hold pleasant memories for me.

Follow up ( A time you visited a place with friends )

  1. Who should people spend more time with? Family or Friends? Why?

I think people should spend more time with family than with friends. Especially considering the lifestyle of people today, they get to spend less time to spend with family because of a hectic routine, so they should spend the free time they get with their family and sometimes plan to hang out with their friends too. For young children, the time they spend on video games and other gadgets should be reduced and they should spend time with their family.

2. What is the difference between staying with friends and staying with family?

The main difference between staying with family and staying with friends is the way we spend time with each. With family we do things like watch TV, discuss about family matters, give and take guidance, and many other such things, With friends we do a different kind of things like just hanging out in a coffee shop or a park, watch movies, eat out, party and so on. While some of the activities may be similar to the way people conduct themselves with friends and family is different
