The world today is dominated by technology. It is used in almost all aspects of our life and makes our life easier and convenient. One such use is the software, which we use in our gadgets, such as laptops and smartphones. Today, I will talk about one such software that I use very often, in fact, daily. It is the Microsoft Office. It has been developed by Microsoft and includes programs like Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, OneNote, etc. Each of these programs has a different purpose.
This package can be downloaded and installed on a computer or a mobile device. It is a licensed software and the user needs to buy the license key or a subscription for it. I mainly use the MS Word and Excel programs. MS Word is a word processor that helps me manage and create documents. I usually complete my assignments on Word and sometimes I use it to make notes ( or At work, I use it to write reports).
Through MS Excel I am able to keep a track of the progress of my work/assignments/expenses/etc. I am able to enter data easily through this software. Not only that, it helps me apply formulas for certain calculations. I sometimes also use PowerPoint software to create presentations. All these applications are very simple and straightforward to use. It didn’t take me much time to learn to use them. These are also compatible with most of the devices and gadgets we use and are available both for Windows and Mac platforms.

Moreover, these applications are accepted and used across the globe. Such software applications have proven to be a boon in many fields, like data entry work, research work, accounts management, data management and reporting, and the list goes on. I believe that everyone should have the knowledge or the basic know-how of using this package/suite of application software. It has become a requirement for many jobs across all industries
