Every day take one minute to look at your goals.
You should have your personal and professional goals written down somewhere accessible,
either in a journal or online. You can even stick them to your computer on Post-it notes. The
key is to check them daily for 60 seconds. When you look at your goals you remind yourself of
your direction, your purpose and why you do the things you do. You can even say them aloud
like an affirmation and commitment. “I am going to be living in X and working as a Y by Z”
If you do not have any goals then please visit our article from the link below and take time to
write them out.
Make sure they are SMART goals as outlined in the article and make sure you write them
down. Indeed, recent research from the Dominican University in California suggests that the
simple act of writing down goals and sharing them with friends increases the likelihood of
you achieving them.
Above all, make sure that you look at your goals every day. The more frequently you look at
them, the more real they will feel.
Visualize how your life will be when you achieve your goals. Just one minute in the morning
will inspire and motivate you for the rest of the day.
